At what point post birth should I schedule a newborn photoshoot?

Photo sessions can be catered to what works for your family, but typically a newborn photo session is scheduled within the first two weeks after baby is born. This allows us to capture all their newborn details.

If I'm not sure when I'll give birth exactly, how do I know when to schedule the photo session for?

Upon booking, we'll estimate a date around your due date with the understanding that this date may have to be flexible if baby comes earlier or later than expected. We'll talk about communication regarding baby's arrival once we book!

Is there anything specific I have to do to prepare for the session?

After booking, I will send you a client guide that details everything you need to know about your newborn shoot including a style guide and tips for a smooth session.

What if I want photos taken immediately post birth, is this something you do?

Yes! I offer both birth photography that documents active labor, birth, and the first hour with your baby, as well as Fresh 48's. Birth photography and Fresh 48 packages can take place at home or in the hospital depending on where baby is born.
